Outreach Ministries

Our Outreach Team is always coming up with ways for our congregation to serve, and seeks to provide many opportunities and options so that everyone can participate in some way. While we have some traditions that we look forward to each year, we are also trying new things all the time! Check our calendar and newsletters for upcoming ways to serve!

Some of our traditions include:

  • Packaging meals at Meals from the Heartland
  • Serving a “Simple Supper” at Adventure Life Church (a ministry of Caring Hands Food Pantry)
  • Knitting caps for cancer patients,  school children and families utilizing the Clothes Hanger (a ministry of Caring Hands)
  • Collecting supplies for hygiene kits through Church World Service
  • Participating in Operation Christmas Child
  • Playing games at YESS (Youth Emergency Shelter Services)
  • Cooking casseroles for the Salvation Army Breakfast Canteen

We also have some ongoing collections:

  • Non-perishable items for our local Caring Hands Food Pantry
  • Plastic and paper grocery sacks for the Salvation Army food pantry
  • Pop-can tabs for Ronald McDonald House
  • Children’s Books for visitors at the Polk County JailWe’re a generous congregation with our offerings. We give regularly to:
