"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me
something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you
gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you
visited me."

Outreach Committee
The Outreach committee leads opportunities for
our congregation to reach out to people in our community, denomination, and
around the world. During the year we do a variety of outreach projects, including:
- Supporting the local food pantry with monthly donations and volunteers.
- Providing
breakfast casseroles for the Salvation Army to distribute in its breakfast
program.
- Participating in the Breast Cancer Research Walk and
the Hunger Hike.
- Donating food and serving meals for the homeless at Churches
United Shelter.
- Collecting school supplies for Central Place to distribute
to children.
- Helping out at Central Place Kid’s Kafe in the summer.
- Providing turkeys at Thanksgiving for the local food pantry.
- Collecting children’s
mittens and hats during December for Central Place to distribute.
- Providing
and cooking turkeys for the local food pantry so they
can provide a free Christmas meal for their clients.
- Supporting the special
Disciples of Christ offerings.
